Once again, Nina Cutro-Kelly has placed first, and this time at the Moscow World Cup stage. She had three matches on the 25th, and each was a nail-biter, keeping the spectators on the edge of their seats until the very end. In the final few seconds of the championship match, Nina threw her Japanese opponent with a perfectly-executed ouchi gari, thus solidifying her bid for first place.
Wade Allison and Richard Crenwelge also fought valiantly, but came up short against very experienced Kazakh wrestlers. It was a valuable experience for both athletes, at the highest level of competition that the sport has to offer. They will undoubtedly be back in the future.
Congratulations once again to Nina, who has made her training partners and countrymen very proud.
